What's different between API and Integrations pricing?

API pricing is for those interested in providing real-time coediting in their own apps (e.g. as a part of a CMS). The pricing tiers are based on the usage volume (session per month) and the number users per session. Integration pricing is specific for Zendesk and Wordpress which are per seat and per site priced respectively.

Do my users have to register with Codox to use this service

Your application's users do not need to register with us separately. We provide a unique API key which allows you to deploy real-time coediting across your application.

What is a "session"?

When two or more users open the same document in your app, the same ticket on Zendesk, or post/page in WordPress, a coediting session is alive and create. The session remains alive as long as there is at least one user with the document opened.

What does the number "users per session" mean?

The "users per session" number (3 or 10) is the maximum number of users that connect to a specific coediting session. For example, with the "standard" tier, up to 10 users are allowed to join the coediting session.

What happens when more than the max number of users tried to join a session?

When the user limit is hit (3 for the Lite plan, 10 for the Standard plan) for a session, additional users will not be permitted to connect to this session. The ongoing session will be unaffected and existing users can continue to coedit the document.

What happens when my team is over the session limit per month?

Your users won't be able to start real-time coediting session. You can wait till the next subscription period or upgrade to a higher plan

How is the payment being processed?

We use Stripe to process your payment. It's the same payment provider used in products such as Twitter, Pinterest, and Lyft. We do not handle your credit card information directly.

What if I decide to cancel my plan?

We will process the cancellation and charges will from the next billing cycle. You will be able to continue use our service until the end of the current billing period. Reactivate at anytime.
